About us

Located in Iceland, a small family business with passion for Icelandic wool and knitting. 

Although Knitknit was established in the middle of a pandemic, the idea had been going through our minds for some years. Finally when forced to stay at home, Knitknit came to life! To begin with, we opened the Icelandic site to make knitting easier for Icelandic knitters that were stuck at home by delivering Lopi yarn to their homes. A few months later we opened our international site Knitknit Icelandic! Now we sell Lopi yarn, Icelandic wool sweaters hand knitted by a group of Icelandic women, and Icelandic wool blankets.

We just LOVE Icelandic wool, and we love to share that with our customers. Whether you are a knitting enthusiast or a fan of the traditional Icelandic wool sweater, Lopapeysa, we hope you find what you are looking for!
